*whew* that was A LOT of work! Next time, I’ll double-check the camera settings BEFORE I start shooting. Nonetheless, I hope that the photos were worth sharing, so the people who couldn’t make it can see what LOVE looks like in Sacramento. So many groups, so many FAMILIES! Parents and grandparents with children in tow. All walks of life, walking together. I needed this experience to give me the strength to handle what’s to come for our country.
I took a ton of pics along the parade route and at the diversity fair, too many to upload here probably, but still wanted to share. If anyone remembers, I was the guy with the “ball” 360 camera at the beginning and the end of the route. It was a pleasure to be there, and see so many groups and so many families in solidarity for this one day. I hope that everybody takes this spirit of solidarity home and out into the world all year. Feel free to tag anyone you know.
This is my 3rd year attending. The #MLK365 tag should take you to the past photo albums. I take a lot of pics for those who could not attend can get a feel of what love looks like in Sacramento.
