I wanna add a HUGE grain of salt. How far are we willing to go with this? As we’re finding out, Washington DC is already filled with very rich and powerful child predators. So is Hollywood. So is Wall Street.

I don’t think we really want justice. We just want to be lied to with fake apologies. Collectively, we are hypocrites. How many Catholics condemned their church for systemic pedophilia covered by regional, national dioceses and the Vatican for generations? The longest-serving, most powerful lawmaker, Dennis Hastert was convicted for misusing funds to buy the silence of a former molestation victim, and he got off easy. No outrage. LAPD and the FBI uncovered child pornography at Neverland Ranch, and we still worship the King of Pop. R. Kelly peed on an underage girl on a sextape that went viral, and we are still keeping him rich. I have no explanation on why Woody Allen still has a penis attached to his body. Anthony Anderson was caught in his dressing room getting head from a 13 yo fan. Looking back, we have punished every single person who tried to come forward to end pedophilia, and we have continued to worship the accused. Even ANONYMOUS could easily out tens of thousands of subscribers to child porn on the dark web, and refuse to do so, probably because it would have to throw a majority of its own ranks under the bus to do so.

It bothers me that we pick our targets based on political agendas. We claim to be against child molestation and child sex trafficking, but our actions over the past 50 years (and further back) prove otherwise. It’s not a topic we want to deal with when it hits close to home. A point reflected in the statistical fact that 90% of underage sexual assault victims know their attackers. 60% of them are family members. We are far better at denying it than dealing with it.
