Honestly, all I see is Free Speech in action. I don’t see any hateful or racist slogans, or inciteful actions. They are out there waving their Confederate flags, with signs that say “Heritage Not Hate,” and their outward behavior seems to reflect on that.
This article was clearly written by an anti-flag supporter, who cant tell the difference between this peaceful protest and a Klan rally.
And that’s the problem with this flag bandwagon. We are marginalizing an entire segment of society as racist bigots over a flag. I don’t believe every waver of that flag is racist. I believe that many people use the flag as a symbol of white supremacy. But in our drive to take down the flag, we are taking a very racist stand ourselves, in assuming every White person who isn’t opposed to taking the flag down is racist.
Racism can only be weakened by dialogue, not by demands.

Most of these Confederate flag-waving morons don’t realize that Oklahoma isn’t part of the South, and wasn’t even a state when the Civil War happened
