Watching the Congress with Robin Wright.

Wow. The context is DEEP. Robin and Aaron are solid. But everything else, is a step below telenovela. It helps discuss our digital souls, something that already has a pricetag, yet we are not even aware exists.

I just posted about how Google and Facebook have made BILLION$ off of us, as products, not as consumers. That is a very two-dimensional look at a much more expansive concept.

Think Caprica. Think of Zoey Greystone, and then Zoey Alpha explaining how her “personality” was comprised of not the real Zoey, but of her digital footprints through her daily life.

You dont own you. Facebook does. Google does. Twitter does. Netflix does. PornHub does. Amazon does. Travelocity does. You gave yourself away for free. We gave ourselves away for free. For them to make billions.

The contract we signed it all away with? It’s called Terms & Conditions. Long after we are dead and gone, they will still own us, and they will still profit from us.

The recent outcry over our info being available publicly through a website is purely hypocritical farce. If we really cared, if it really mattered, we would have read all those contracts that made it legal.
