Then Rev Taylor explained to me as a kid that prayer isn’t for asking, it’s for sharing. It’s that sacred moment that you share only with God. When you pray, you clear out all of the noise in the material world and focus on the spiritual. God doesn’t answer questions. That’s what the Bible is for. Whatever your religion, prayer is designed to get your mind right with your heart. To set aside those conflicting confusing external forces, and to strengthen that inner voice to trust and follow.
