How we view immigrants personally determines how we view illegal immigrants politically.

It’s very hard to be anti-illegal without being anti-human on some level.  We don’t care how inhumane their detention centers are. We do not give a rat’s ass about civil liberties or even human rights. Our short answer to any humane concern is “They are here illegally. They are breaking the law. They shouldn’t even be here in the first place.”

Illegals are so much easier to despise them openly as long as we dehumanize them.  Just listen to how people talk about them in honest conversations. It’s derogatory, it’s racist, but it’s okay, because it must be true. And, of course, it’s funny because we all laugh in agreement.

How else could we have decimated the thriving indigenous tribes so quickly and so effectively to take over this land? How else could we have enslaved another race into an institution of literally no human rights, no legal rights, to be bartered like cattle? How else can so many people still think that slavery was better for us?

I’m Not Racist But

My friends who grew up in projects. You know what it was like, because you lived it. Tell me just how different your life was compared to how your non-hood friends talk about “urban life” “life on the streets” “in tha hood.”

We gonna have a good time!

Just as, right now, my friends who grew up with the Rebel flag back home, and love the Stars and Bars more than the Stars and Stripes, how does it feel to have ignorant people who know nothing of your upbringing, telling you what that Flag “really” means? That you must be a racist? They don’t see you anymore, they just see the flag. That’s what it’s like for Black people when they get judged by the color of their skin.  The way we just see the breasts, not the woman behind them.

Funny to everyone, except rednecks.

We all hated and feared gays when we blamed them for lethal AIDS and was taught academically that it was a curable disease, and propagation of pedophilia and mental instability. Once we got over the stigma of homosexuality, we didn’t have any problems with gays. We stopped telling as many gay jokes, at least in public.

History has shown, time and again, ANY time we discriminately target a group of people for being different, we turn out to be assholes. Logic-defying, propaganda-believing, won’t-have-it-any-other-way assholes.  We burned witches, we literally came up with the phrase “witch hunt” to describe such behavior. We were spooked by niggers, we feared scalping tribal savages, rather than respected indigenous nations of proud people. We believe women were useless outside of the kitchen. We told Police jokes and didn’t trust wops or jews. Now every Muslim is a terrorist, every border jumper is costing us money. Middle Easterners are the new kikes. No matter what we called it, publicly or privately, it was wrong. It still is wrong. It will ALWAYS be wrong. No matter how much truth or fiction there is behind it.

Diversity – the MESA Way.
